Account deletion
Delete your account, in the app.
You can delete your HelpOne account yourself, at any time, in the HelpOne app for iPhone and Android. It happens straight away. You do not need to ask us. Last updated 23 October 2026.
How to delete your account
- Open the HelpOne app and sign in.
- Go to Settings › Account › Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
You are signed out on every device and your account is gone. If you were the only person in your organisation, the organisation is deleted with it.
If you are the only owner of an organisation that has other people in it, the app asks you to make someone else its owner first, or to delete the whole organisation. This stops a team losing its help desk without warning.
How to delete your whole organisation
Owners can delete the organisation and everything in it under Settings › Organisation › Delete organisation. Type the organisation's exact name to confirm. Everyone in it is signed out at once and loses access.
What is erased
- When you delete your account: your name, email address and profile, your sign-ins, passkeys and two-step sign-in, your devices, notification settings, shifts and saved reports, and your place in every organisation. Replies and notes you wrote stay with the organisation they belong to, and conversations assigned to you become unassigned.
- When an organisation is deleted: its brands, conversations, messages, files, customers, help articles, settings, connections and members. Very large organisations are erased in steps over the next day.
We keep billing records for as long as UK tax law requires, and a short record that the account or organisation was deleted and when, with no customer content. Copies in our backups expire within 30 days.
If you cannot use the app
Use the enquiry form or the chat on this site, say you want your HelpOne account deleted, and give the email address you sign in with. We confirm it is you by email before we delete anything, and reply within one month. Our privacy notice explains your other rights.
